About

Fastplant Skateboarding is a female lead skateboard business run by Taniah Meyers and Mikayla Senior.

Skateboarding is our way of life and we share the love of skateboarding through our coaching.

We’re here to help people grow confidence on and off the board and help the next generation progress in skating and the skate industry.

Fun and creativity is one of our core values. We want people to remember the fun in skateboarding and open peoples mind to all the different pathways skateboarding can take you.

Skate With Us

Meet the Team

  • Hi my name is Taniah Meyers but everyone knows me as ’T’.

I like to ride skateboards and do anything adventurous. My love for skateboarding started back in 2013 and has given me more than I could of ever asked for. I am 21 now and I have been lucky enough to travel to different parts of the world competing in skateboarding contests, skating with some of the best skaters around.

I have made lifelong friends from everywhere around the world and some of the best memories that I will cherish forever.  I enjoy going fast and grinding long. I mostly skate bowls and ramps but enjoy all parts of skating.

I am very grateful to be a part of the skating community and be around skating all the time. I have been teaching skateboarding for the past 5 years and have enjoyed every moment of it. I always love to see the stoke on someones face when they learn a new trick that they have worked hard on. Not only do I enjoy skating myself but there is no better feeling then giving back and and seeing  others grow and progress.

I believe that skating is one of the best sports in the world and is a great place to learn many life skills like persistence, perseverance and confidence all whilst having fun. I want to share the love for skateboarding around and pass on my skate knowledge to the younger generation. I hope to share the whole experience of skateboarding with everyone, because it’s been my greatest source of enjoyment since day one.

  • Hey, my name is Mikayla Senior but most people know me as Mik!

My skateboarding journey started six years ago when I was thirteen years old, this has been the best six years of my life. Skateboarding has been such an important outlet for me, it has let me create memories, make friendships and has opened many opportunities in my life.

My favourite thing about skating is how great the community is and how quickly you can make friends anywhere.

I like to skate everything ranging from, flat ground, street, bowl and mini ramps. I honestly believe that skateboarding is such an amazing sport as it doesn’t only bring skills on a skateboard, but it also gives you everyday life skills such as, confidence, perseverance and persistence.

I am so grateful to have the knowledge that skating has given me and I would love to pass down my knowledge to the next generation!
